CAST Terms of Service
Last updated October 27, 2026
These Terms are an agreement between you and CAST Events Organizing Services, a sole proprietorship registered with the DTI, Philippines ("CAST", "we", "us"). They cover our websites, the CAST app, the CAST web app, CAST Cue, CAST Expo, and the event planning services we provide (together, the "Services"). Our Privacy Policy is part of these Terms. Accredited vendors and venues also agree to the Partner Terms.
1. Agreeing to these Terms
By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.
We keep a record of which version of these Terms you accepted and when.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract. If you use the Services for a business, you confirm you're allowed to accept these Terms for it. The information you give us must be accurate and kept up to date.
2. Your account
- Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- Tell us straight away at management@casteventplanning.com if you think someone else has used it.
- One account per person. Don't sign up as someone else.
- You can delete your account at any time in the CAST app, or as described on our Delete Your CAST Account page.
3. What CAST is
CAST is a platform that connects clients with independent, accredited vendors and venues ("partners"). It helps clients plan events and find partners, and gives partners tools to manage inquiries, bookings and leads. CAST does not provide the partners' services.
CAST also offers optional event planning and organizing services. These apply only when you sign a separate agreement with CAST (section 6).
Partners are independent businesses. They are not CAST's employees or agents.
4. Booking a partner through CAST
- When a client and a partner agree a booking in the CAST app, the contract is between the client and the partner. CAST records the booking, its contract versions and add-ons so both sides have the same record, but CAST is not a party to it unless we say so in writing.
- The partner is responsible for their services, staff, prices, permits, insurance and performance.
- If something goes wrong, contact the partner first. We may help both sides reach an agreement, but we're not required to, and we're not liable for disputes between clients and partners.
- Before accrediting a partner, CAST checks their business registration, identity and contact details, and asks them to keep these up to date. If you have a complaint about a partner and can't reach them, email management@casteventplanning.com and we'll give you the partner's registered business name and contact details.
- A partner's CAST accreditation means they met CAST's standards when we approved them. It is not a guarantee of their work.
5. Payments
The CAST apps don't process payments. Our website takes payments only for Event Upgrades (see section 10).
- Payments to partners are made directly to the partner, in person or by bank transfer or e-wallet, using the payout details the partner provides. CAST never holds your money.
- Payment records in the app (amount, reference number, receipt photo) are a shared record of a payment made outside CAST. They don't move any money.
- For CAST's own services, you pay in person or by bank transfer or e-wallet. Clients abroad may receive a payment link by email, processed by Xendit on its own secure page. CAST never sees or stores your card details.
6. CAST's own event planning services
This section applies only when you sign an Event Package Booking and Service Agreement with CAST. Without one, CAST is not your event organizer, and bookings you make with partners follow section 4.
- Prices: prices we quote are in Philippine Pesos. Any price shown before a quotation is a guide only; your final price is confirmed in writing before we provide the service.
- Booking confirmation: a booking with CAST is confirmed only once we receive the reservation fee, the required documents and a signed Event Package Booking and Service Agreement. Dates, venues and suppliers aren't guaranteed until then.
- The reservation fee for an event package is non-refundable. Payments already committed to venues, suppliers, permits, customized work or other event costs are also non-refundable.
- If CAST cancels: if we cancel your event package for a reason other than your breach of the agreement or an event outside our control (section 16), we'll offer you a suitable replacement or a new date. If you don't accept, we refund everything you paid CAST for it, including the reservation fee.
- Refunds, cancellations and amounts payable follow your signed Event Package Booking and Service Agreement, which depend on when we receive written notice.
- Rescheduling follows your signed agreement, and depends on the availability of CAST, the venue and the suppliers.
Your signed agreement takes priority over this section if they differ. See also our Refund Policy.
7. Reviews
- Only a client who booked a partner through CAST can review them, once per booking, after the event.
- Reviews must be honest and about your own experience. No offers of payment or discounts in exchange for reviews.
- Partners may reply publicly to their reviews.
- We may remove reviews or replies that are false, abusive, contain personal information, or break these Terms. We don't remove reviews just because they're negative.
8. CAST Circle
CAST Circle is a community for event clients. Vendors, venues and accreditation applicants can't join it. Posts and comments must follow the CAST Circle rules shown in the app. We may remove posts and suspend members who break them.
9. CAST Expo
- Your Expo Pass is personal. Don't share or copy it.
- If you turn on "Let exhibitors scan my pass", exhibitors who scan it receive your name and email and can message you in CAST. You can turn this off at any time; exhibitors keep what they already received.
- Raffles and prize draws are run by the Expo organizer under their own DTI permit. The organizer is responsible for prizes, permits and the rules of each raffle; CAST provides the tools and records.
- Expo organizers and exhibitors are responsible for their own booths, products and conduct.
10. Guest lists, RSVPs and Event Upgrades
If you add guests to your event, you confirm you may share their details with CAST for the event, and you'll use their RSVP answers only for that event.
Event Upgrades are optional paid features for one event, such as a designed digital invitation or a Save the Date page.
- Buying. Upgrades are sold on casteventplanning.com to a signed-in CAST account, never inside the CAST apps. Prices are shown in Philippine pesos before you pay. Each upgrade applies only to the event you choose at checkout.
- Payment. Payments are processed by Xendit on its own secure page. CAST never sees or stores your card or e-wallet details. Xendit's confirmation is a payment confirmation, not CAST's sales invoice. CAST issues a sales invoice for every paid order.
- Activation. An upgrade turns on when we receive confirmation of your payment, usually within minutes. If it isn't on within 24 hours of a successful payment, email management@casteventplanning.com.
- Refunds and moving an upgrade. See our Refund Policy. You may ask us once to move an upgrade to a different event on your account.
- How long it stays live. An upgrade stays active until 6 months after the event date. Its invitation content and gallery photos are then deleted, as our Privacy Policy explains, so download anything you want to keep before then.
- Your content. You're responsible for the names, text, photos and guest details you add to an upgrade, and for having the right to use them (see section 12).
11. Rules for using the Services
You must not:
- break any law, or use the Services for fraud, harassment, spam or unauthorized advertising
- post anything false, misleading, abusive, obscene or that infringes someone's rights
- pretend to be someone else, or misrepresent a business or its accreditation
- collect other users' information without their consent, or use it for anything other than the purpose it was shared for
- copy, scrape or harvest data from the Services with bots or scripts
- try to access accounts, data or systems you're not allowed to, or get around security or usage limits
- copy, modify, decompile or reverse engineer our apps or websites
- disrupt the Services, or take advantage of an obvious error or bug
We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Reporting a problem. To report a post, review, listing or partner that breaks these Terms or the law, including an intellectual property claim or a government takedown order, email management@casteventplanning.com with a link or screenshot and what's wrong. We'll acknowledge your report within 3 working days and act on valid reports promptly, for example by removing content or suspending a partner, and tell you what we did. We keep a record of every report and the action taken.
12. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post or upload: photos, reviews, posts, notes and documents. You give CAST a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, display, copy and adapt it as needed to run and improve the Services, in line with your privacy choices and our Privacy Policy. For partners, this includes showing your profile, photos and logo in CAST and in materials promoting CAST's accredited partners.
You confirm you have the right to post what you upload. We may review, refuse or remove content that breaks these Terms.
If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely.
13. CAST's intellectual property
The Services, including our apps, websites, designs, text, the CAST name, logos and the accreditation badge, belong to CAST or our licensors. We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the Services as these Terms allow. You may mention CAST factually, but you may not use our name, logos or badge in a way that suggests endorsement or accreditation you don't have.
If you believe something on CAST infringes your copyright, email management@casteventplanning.com with the details.
14. Other services and links
The Services link to or rely on services run by others, such as app stores, wallet apps, maps, social media and payment providers. Their own terms apply, and we're not responsible for them. If one stops working or changes, we may have to stop supporting it.
15. Changes and availability
We keep improving the Services, so features may change, be added or be removed. We aim to keep everything available, but there may be interruptions for maintenance, updates or problems outside our control. Where practical, we'll give notice before removing a major feature. If a change removes a main feature of an Event Upgrade you paid for before your event, we'll offer a fix, a replacement or a refund.
16. Events outside our control
We're not responsible for failing or being late to meet our obligations because of events outside our reasonable control, such as typhoons, floods, earthquakes, fires, epidemics, government restrictions, venue closures, transport disruptions, power or internet outages, cyberattacks or failures of third-party services. Our obligations are paused for as long as the event lasts, and we'll tell you as soon as we reasonably can.
17. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that they will be uninterrupted, error-free or meet every need, or that information on them (including partner profiles) is always complete or accurate.
18. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows:
- we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, business, goodwill or data
- our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid CAST in the 12 months before the claim, or PHP 1,000
- claims must be brought within 2 years of when they arose
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any liability the law doesn't allow us to limit. Nothing removes your rights under the consumer protection or data privacy laws that apply to you, whether in the Philippines or in the country where you live.
19. Your responsibility to us
If a claim is brought against CAST because you broke these Terms or the law, misused another person's information, or because of your dealings with another user, you agree to cover CAST's reasonable losses and costs from it, to the extent the law allows.
20. Suspending or closing accounts
We may suspend or close an account, or remove content, if you break these Terms, if required by law, or to protect users or CAST. Where appropriate, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to respond. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as payments owed, liability and disputes) continue after an account is closed.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We'll post the new version here with a new date. For significant changes, we'll tell you by email or in the app before they apply, and may ask you to accept them again. If you keep using the Services after changes take effect, you accept them.
22. Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines. If you have a dispute with us, please email management@casteventplanning.com first with the details and what you're asking for; we'll try to resolve it within 30 days. If we can't, either side may bring the matter to the proper courts of Las Piñas City, without affecting any right you have under consumer protection law to bring a claim elsewhere.
23. General
- If any part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we don't enforce a right straight away, we haven't given it up.
- These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Partner Terms (for partners) and any signed agreement with CAST are the whole agreement between us about the Services. A signed agreement takes priority where it differs.
- You can't transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer ours if the CAST business is transferred, without reducing your rights.
- Notices to you may be sent by email or in the app.
- The English version of these Terms is the official one.
